POSITION: Temporary Bilingual Instructional Assistant at St. Paul Elementary 

• TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT / SALARY: Temporary position for the 2025/2026 school year   
• 30 hours a week

STARTING DATE:

• November 1, 2025

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's Degree, 72 quarter hours of post-secondary coursework, or High  School Diploma, and pass a rigorous local assessment;
• Evidence of good leadership and citizenship qualities, and an interest in students; 
• Ability to communicate well with adults and children;
• Prior job-related experience recommended, but not required;
• Preferred Qualification: Strong Reading and Math Skills;
• Qualification: Bilingual Spanish/English;
• Have or obtain a current First Aid card.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Classroom Instructional support through working with small groups of students, parents, and staff communications. Supervision of playground and other duties as assigned. Works under the direct supervision of classroom teachers as assigned and building administration.
